We currently have a wonderful opportunity available for someone looking for an ongoing part-time role:
Child Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling)
Sub-Contractor Role
Part Time
We have a position for a Child Psychologist to join us on a part time basis, we offer:
- Part Time Role (min. 2 days per week) with flexibility to increase or work weekends.
- Sub Contractor Rental Rates with generous terms.
- Flexibility to work in the practice and via TeleHealth.
Essential Criteria:
- Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology or Educational & Development Psychology.
- Hold current & full registration with AHPRA.
- Registered Medicare provider or eligibility for same.
- Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- ABN or willing and able to obtain.
- Minimum 1 year experience working with children, adolescents & their families in the field of Psychology.
- Enthusiastic, passionate, empathetic & have a solid work ethic.
- A strong desire and long-term goal to work with children.
- Preparedness to work face-face with children and adolescents but have flexibility for TeleHealth work with parents.
- Excellent written communication & report writing skills.
- Ability to provide in person after school/afterhours sessions.
Additional Desirable Skills:
- Interest in Eating Disorder Treatment.
- Experience working with complex presentations.
- Interest in conducting assessments - Learning/ADHD/ASD.
- Interest in running parent groups.
