Jennifer’s collaborative and warm approach aims to foster a genuine therapeutic relationship with adolescents and adults. Jennifer is passionate about supporting a journey of self-exploration, acceptance, and meaningful change.
After initially training as a teacher, Jennifer accumulated a decade of experience working in various learning environments. As a psychologist Jennifer worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, organisations, and university clinics.
Jennifer’s experience provides a unique insight into the challenges of modern living, including anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and unhelpful patterns that impact mental and physical well-being across all ages. Furthermore, Jennifer is a proud neuroaffirming psychologist, working with teens and adults exploring their neurodivergent braintype, strengths and preferences. Jennifer draws upon a variety of therapeutic approaches when partnering with clients. Depending on the individual needs and preferences, a tailored approach may include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Person Centred Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Jennifer also undertakes assessments and reports for adults interested in exploring neurodivergence such as ADHD and Autism. She takes a neuroaffirming approach where the assessment process is tailored to the individuals needs and goals. Jennifer partners with her client to explore their strengths and preferences, along with meaningful support and accommodations.
Jennifer is a registered provider with Medicare and private health insurers and is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
