Dr Kathryn Garland
Kathryn is an experienced Clinical Psychologist with 20 years’ experience in a variety of hospital and community settings. She has been in private practice for 15 years.
Kathryn specialises in treating anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, chronic pain, chronic health conditions, self-esteem, and self-confidence issues and ASD and ADHD in adulthood. She also has expertise in Type 1 Diabetes.
Kathryn has a person-centred approach utilising a range of techniques, including cognitive-behavioural therapy, interpersonal therapy, and psychodynamic approaches. She completed her Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) at Monash University and prior to that a Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Melbourne.
Kathryn has full registration with Clinical endorsement from the Psychology Board of Australia, is a full member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS) and a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
