Kerry is a consulting Psychologist and Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher.
Kerry holds general registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also registered with Medicare. She is a Member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
Work experience
Kerry has 10 years of experience working in mental health with broad and extensive experience working with a variety of different client populations in a variety of different settings.
Kerry now works as a private practice psychologist. Prior to working in private practice, Kerry worked as a Mental Health Clinician at headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, at Frontyard Youth Services (Melbourne Citymission) and as a School Psychologist. In the past, she has also volunteered for a number of Telephone counselling services, including Reconnexion and Lifeline.

Kerry currently sees adolescents (16+ years) and adults in counselling. She works with clients experiencing a range of different life problems including stress, anxiety (including phobias and panic attacks), trauma (including PTSD and Complex Trauma), OCD and other compulsive disorders, gambling addiction, emotional dysregulation, depression, self-esteem issues, body-image issues, self-harm, school or academic-related stress, work-related issues, perfectionism and procrastination, motivational problems, attentional difficulties, bullying, anger management, interpersonal difficulties, relationship or family problems, life adjustment, bereavement / grief and loss, developmental issues, management of chronic illness / autoimmune disease and pain management.
Evidence-based counselling interventions offered
Kerry has been trained to deliver a range of different evidence-based counselling treatments, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion, Mindfulness (including Mindfulness Meditation), Relaxation Training, Narrative Therapy, Creative therapies, basic skills in the Three Pillars Treatment for Attachment Psychopathology and a good understanding of Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Kerry is also experienced in facilitating groups, including for CBT, Mindfulness, Mindful Self-Compassion, Anger Management and DBT.

Professional Development
All registered psychologists are required to engage in continuing professional development and education. Kerry regularly attends professional development workshops and seminars to ensure that she stays up to date with current evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Kerry also attends regular individual supervision and group peer supervision with her colleagues to gain peer consultation and build on her counselling skills.
