Judy works from a place of empathy and respect for her clients. She is interested in treating the whole person, taking into account their entire emotional well-being, as defined by several interconnected systems (medical, psychological, social, behavioural, psychiatric, lifestyle, spiritual etc.).

Judy provides her clients with a safe space to debrief, express and process their thoughts, ideas and feelings and also supplies a tool kit of resources drawn from a number of clinical modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/Mindfulness, Schema Therapy, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal Therapy, & EMDR.

Judy has worked extensively in medical, organisational, community, educational and not for profit settings (Melbourne and rural Victoria & NSW). She was also employed as the Director of Rape Crisis & Sexual Assault Program for Safe Horizon (formerly Crime Victims Centre) in New York City, where she furthered her tertiary education, provided clinical supervision to therapists and worked in clinical practice with survivors of family and stranger violence.

Judy works with older adolescents & adults, individuals & couples and has expertise in the following clinical areas – anxiety & mood disorders, adjustment disorders, personality disorders, complex trauma and PTSD.

Judy is also a registered provider for WorkSafe, Comcare, Transport Accident Commission (TAC), Victims of Crime (VOC), National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and private health insurers.
