Sarah Cameron
Sarah is a registered psychologist who works collaboratively with adults seeking support for psychological concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship and interpersonal issues, life and role transition difficulties. Sarah employs evidence-based interventions including cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and mindfulness.
Sarah focuses on building a respectful, positive and safe therapeutic alliance with clients. She aims to help individuals develop an awareness and understanding of both past and current life experiences, and the impact they can have on mental health. Sarah seeks to help clients identify maladaptive patterns and behaviours and learn new skills to encourage psychological growth and improve wellbeing.
Additionally, Sarah has an interest in psychological research and is currently undertaking a PhD exploring mental health service users’ experiences and perspectives of family involvement in their care.
