Jessica Levetan
Jessica is a registered Educational & Developmental Psychologist and relationship therapist. She has experience working with individuals and families across a range of educational, clinical and private settings. Jessica attained a Master of Psychology from Monash University, where she achieved the highest academic result in her faculty. She offers a number of evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Family Systems Therapy.
Jessica assists adolescents and adults to enhance their confidence and self-worth, practice assertiveness, set appropriate boundaries, navigate school and work pressures, explore relationship concerns, and manage anxiety and mood disorders. She has a special interest in supporting pregnant women and parents throughout the childrearing years, as well as helping couples navigate infertility and assisted reproduction. She has trained with the Circle of Security® Parenting™ International in attachment-based parenting and with the Royal Women’s Hospital in the Newborn Behavioural Observation (NB0) system.
Jessica has also completed specialist training in relationship therapy with Relationships Australia Victoria (RAV) and works with couples to navigate conflict and improve intimacy, bonding and communication.
In addition to her work with adults, Jessica supports children and their teachers and families to address a number of difficulties, such as anxiety, depressive symptoms, sleep problems, social concerns, anger issues, family breakdown and conflict, learning problems, and developmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Jessica’s therapeutic style is warm, gentle, and collaborative, and she is passionate about helping her clients to find their inner strength and resilience.
In her spare time, she enjoys art, music, and nature, as well as spending time with her family, friends and pet cavoodle.
