Anne-Marie Davis
Anne-Marie began her career as a Psychologist after working overseas in the corporate sector in a variety of human resources roles.
As a Counselling Psychologist, Anne-Marie works with individuals and couples dealing with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss and grief, life-transitions and relationships. Anne-Marie is particularly interested in working with clients both as individuals and couples where there are relationship challenges. She is a Certified Gottman Therapist and has also trained in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).
With her counselling experience and expertise, she assists her clients to function at their best, both personally and relationship-wise, by making meaningful changes in their lives. Her approach is both respectful and collaborative, taking into account each person’s unique circumstances.
Anne-Marie draws on principles from a range of therapeutic styles including CBT, ACT, IPT, solution-focused therapy and schema therapy. She is constantly updating her knowledge particularly in the area of relationships.
Anne-Marie is a registered provider with Medicare and private health insurers. She is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Counselling College.
